There are a ton of charming pictures of plants and natural spaces interspersed throughout. It’s a little ramshackle in most of the pictures, but it has a cozy vibe that I love. However, this is an easy recommendation from me.Īs you can see from the above illustration, it is an adorable world. The story is cute too, but it has a few moments of convenience and there are a few places where things could have been explained more. I love the color pallet, the gorgeous art, and the quirky characters.

Three Words That Describe This Book: Sweet, Spooky, Soothing I wish the book was just a little longer so the story would flow more smoothly, but overall, it’s a really nice read. The only thing I didn’t like was that the transition from the first half of the book to the second half is a little sudden and awkward. The characters are very sweet to each other, and the color palette is pretty. Even though it deals with death and the underworld, it’s not a scary or depressing story. That’s not going to sound enticing to some people, but I really liked it. It doesn’t really do anything new plot-wise it’s basically a cliché love story with ghosts. My Review: This is the kind of book you should read when you just want something short with a happy ending.
